Our electric chain hoists come in 500 kg, 1 ton, 2 ton, 3 ton, 5 ton and 10 ton, with motors from 1 HP to 10 HP. The 500 kg to 5 ton models are listed at 220 V and the 10 ton runs on three phase. Single fall models lift faster, while double and four fall models carry heavier loads at a lower speed. Standard lift is 6 m (3 m on the 10 ton) and longer chain is available.
For light jobs we have mini electric wire rope hoists, the PA 600 and PA 1200, both single phase with 20 m lift. The PA 600 lifts 300 kg on single line or 600 kg on double line with the pulley block, and the PA 1200 lifts 600 kg or 1200 kg. For tall lifts there is an electric hoist cum winch rated 500 to 1000 kg, with 60 m lift on single phase or 80 m on three phase. Buying tips
- Check your power supply first: our electric chain hoists are listed at 220 V up to 5 ton and three phase on the 10 ton, the mini wire rope hoists run on single phase, and the hoist cum winch comes in single phase and three phase versions.
- Single fall hoists lift faster, while double and four fall hoists carry more load at a slower speed.
- Order the lift height you need with some margin, since extra chain can be added when you order.
- Hang the hoist from an electric or geared trolley if the load has to travel along a beam.
- Choose a capacity above the heaviest load, including slings and any lifting beam.

How fast does an electric chain hoist lift?
Our single fall models lift at about 6.6 to 6.8 m/min. The 2 ton and 3 ton double fall models lift at 3.3 and 5.4 m/min, and the 5 ton and 10 ton at 2.7 m/min.
What power supply do I need?
Our 500 kg to 5 ton electric chain hoists are listed at 220 V and the 10 ton runs on three phase, so share your site supply and we will confirm. The mini wire rope hoists run on single phase. The electric hoist cum winch comes in a single phase version with 60 m lift and a three phase version with 80 m lift.
What is a mini electric wire rope hoist used for?
It is a compact hoist for light, repeated lifts in workshops, godowns and small sites. The PA 600 lifts 300 kg on single line or 600 kg on double line with the pulley block, on 5 mm rope. The PA 1200 lifts 600 kg or 1200 kg on 8 mm rope. Both have 20 m lift and run on single phase.
Can I get a longer lift on an electric chain hoist?
Yes. Standard lift is 6 m (3 m on the 10 ton) and extra chain can be supplied. Tell us the height when you ask for the price.
